ORLANDO, Fla. (April 9, 2018) — Explore one of the world’s most popular beverages at Science of Wine, a unique food and wine event benefiting Orlando Science Center on Saturday, April 28!
Science of Wine is not just another wine tasting, but an oenological odyssey with additional wine-related seminars and demonstrations. Thanks to presenting partner Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, Science of Wine offers guests the opportunity to sample more than 150 global fine wines that will be paired with delectable dishes from 30 culinary partners from your favorite region, Central Florida.
All food and wine at the event is included with your general ticket!
Culinary partners include local favorites like Taverna Opa, Hawkers, Tapa Toro, Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen, Yak & Yeti Restaurant and many more. Pair these amazing dishes with fine wines from the world’s most famous wine regions, dazzling your senses and piquing your curiosity, whether you are a novice or a wine aficionado.
It wouldn’t be Science of Wine without some unique educational experiences! There will be several informal presentations throughout the evening, including a wine seminar by Julie Pepi, CSW Director for Fine Wine in Florida for Trinchero Family Estates; and a cooking demonstration with Swine & Sons Provisions of Winter Park. Wine seminar and cooking demo tickets are available at an additional $20 per seat and space is very limited.
Science of Wine is expected to sell out again this year, so get your tickets early. Tickets cost $125 and are on sale now at osc.org/wine. Science Center members receive a special rate of $100 per ticket.
